Recently started venturing down to the Avenue for Mexican food, many good places but Johnnys stands out above all, everything just done a little better. Tastier beans, rice and proteins seasoned well makes for great burritos and amazing tacos. Don't be fooled by the exterior this is a professional family business.

Pretty good California Mexican food but you are way better off driving up the street to any other place around.
$18 for a burrito and a large drink on a street filled with cheap and delicious Mexican choices?

This place SUCKS.
Don't eat here. It's filthy dirty. The staff is anything but friendly. The food is so overpriced. $9 for a veggie burrito? R U Kidding me? The creeps that hang here are disgusting. There's plenty of other Mexican restaurants. Don't waste your money here. -

My Mother and I stopped at this place for lunch. We paid over 17.00 for two medium Pepsi's one small tostadas and one order of taquitos. The taquitos were four all alone. No cheese no lettuce not even real guacamole just that runny green sour sauce that isn't even avocado. I paid extra for sour cream. Don't go here for a good meal.
You will be disappointed.
